The 1st thing you need to do on the internet to start your online business presence is to register for a domain name.
Here is how to register a domain name with Namecheap, one of the domain registrars I use.
Let’s get started:-
1st, you’ll need to type “http://www.namecheap.com” on your favourite browser and you will come to the homepage below…

Before you enter the domain name you want, It’s easier to register for a FREE account prior.
See the text link “Signup For A Free Account” on the right? Click that and you’ll proceed to the next page to fill in your details.

Now fill in your login information - your unique username and passwords. To make it more secure, I recommend you type a password of at least 6 characters and alpha-numeric if possible.
Then fill in your account information - your first name, last name and email address. Make sure you type in the email address correctly as your will be receiving your confirmation there.
Tick the checkbox to state that “You have completely read, understood and accepted the Registration Agreement *” and the other checkbox - choose what you are registering the domain for. I usually leave it at “Personal Use”
Finally, click on “Create Account >>”.
That’s it! Now you are a newly registered member of [TAG-TEC]Namecheap[/TAG-TEC]. You should receive an email confirming this as well.
