This is the final part in registering your domain name with Namecheap.
Now, let’s register a new domain name.
Step 1 - After you have decided on a domain name, let’s check it’s availability. For this example, I’m going to register a domain name myself and I’ve decided on a domain name - GetDesignerHandBags.com

Step 2 - Whatever domain you decide on, it’s time to check its availability. If it’s not available, try searching again. Once available, you can Add to Cart and proceed to the next step.

Step 3 - Check your Shopping Cart. You can even set your domain duration to more than 1 year. Just hit update changes. Then proceed to checkout. I choose “Standard Checkout”.

Step 4 - You’ll be required to login into your account after that and go through 6 steps. The 1st thing is to enter your administrative, technical and billing contact information. Usually this is the same info you provided while registering.
Step 5 - Enable WhoisGuard. Simply your contact information will be protected. Then click “Continue to Options”.

Step 6 - Set Your Name Servers. If you don’t already have a hosting account, get your hosting account here => I recommend Hostgator. You will receive your Name Servers in the welcome email. Setting Name Servers means connecting your domain name to your hosting account so that you can get your domain name hosted. Then continue to checkout.

Step 7 - Proceed to make payment using the funds in your account or via credit card. You will need to authenticate your payment by re-entering your Namecheap password. Then watch as your domain name gets processed and registered officially. The rest of the steps are straightforward hence I do not provide screenshots.
Congratulations! Now you have your domain name registered with Namecheap! Just add future domain registration to the same account and same Hostgator or other hosting account Name Servers.
