In my last Build A Niche Store review series, I told you I’m going to register for a new domain name for my BANS website. After selecting a random niche on top of my head, I finally decide to register GetDesignerHandBags.com.

If you would like to know how I registered my domain name at Namecheap and pointed it directly to my Hostgator account, you may read my other post; “How To Register A Domain Name With Namecheap“.

The next step is to join the eBay affiliate program. If you have not even registered for eBay, Click Here to register your new account now.

It’s as simple as filling up your details and setting your ID.

If you already have an eBay account, all you have to do is to register for an eBay affiliate account.

Registering is FREE and is handled by the affiliate network called Commission Junction.

Use the domain name you just acquired if it’s also your 1st time registering with Commission Junction. It should take you no more than 5 minutes!

Uh! Oh! What if your application to be an eBay affiliate is declined? Not to worry. Follow the steps shown in the BANS manual and you should be up and running pretty much like everyone else. I can’t reveal to you the steps to get your eBay affiliate application accepted if declined the 1st time you apply here as it’s all explained in the manual and I have to be fair to BANS for an excellent tutorial.

After getting it all done, I’m off to install my BANS website!

The BANS Manual has 15 pages dedicated to teaching you how to install your BANS website. Now, they even include screenshots so I shall not duplicate them here. You can see them inside.

It shows you how to load the BANS files to your hosted domain name. You’ll learn how to do FTP - File Transfer Protocol, how to CHMOD your files - changing some commands for your files, creating a MYSQL database, how to use Cpanel and completing the whole process.

Does all the above sound scary to you? Now, take it as a learning process. Sooner or later if you want to really succeed online and work from home, you are going to learn all these anyways. But don’t let this deter you from building your own niche eBay store.
