I received an email from Yahoo regarding some upcoming changes on MyblogLog. After such a long time without any news from them regarding MyblogLog, I guessed it’ll be good if I help then get the word out this time.
The reason is that I was not informed in the past that they moved to using Yahoo! IDs for log-ins. Perhaps they forgot how to email back then.
If you are in the dark about what MyblogLog is, here are some excerpts I took off their FAQ pages on why you need to use MyBlogLog especially if you are blogging.
“MyBlogLog enables you to track that last little bit of information about your website.
…if you have a blog or any other site where you frequently post new content on the main page, you don’t have a good way of tracking what people find interesting. One way is to track when people click on the links you provide.
…you can use it to tune your content to be even more compelling for your readers. You can use it to determine which stories you should follow up on.”
I’m excited to hear about their new feature called “New With Me” where you get to aggregate your latest activities on MyBlogLog from other social network sites you belong to like the famous Twitter and the indispensable Digg.
Let’s add the video traffic juice - YouTube in the equation if video submissions are one thing you frequently do.
These will all be combined depending if you have accounts with them and if you opt to combine them with MyBlogLog. Think of it as a one-stop station for all your [TAG-TEC]social networking[/TAG-TEC] accounts so for once I may have to remember only one account password.
Something closely resembling OnlyWire I guess…
…and your static profile will be more dynamic this time round. If you scroll to the far bottom right of this blog, you’ll see MyBlogLog in action and when the changes come so will your view of that spot. Let’s take a sneak peak…
