One of the common questions I get here is – How to create a clickable link?
Here, I will be showing you how to make simple HTML clickable links without having to be an HTML expert.
Oops, for those who don’t know HTML, it means Hyper-Text Mark-Up Language. It is a code language that computers read. Hmm, let’s not be too technical here. If you wish to learn more about the subject, I suggest you go through Wikipedia.
Back to creating a clickable link.
Here is a fragment of HTML code you’ll need:
<a href=”http://talkhomebusinessblog.com” target=”_blank”>Work From Home Blog</a>
That bit of code looks like this when it’s copied into the code of a web page and displayed on your internet browser:
Okay, let’s break it down in steps…
<a href=”http://talkhomebusinessblog.com” target=”_blank”>Work From Home Blog</a>
Step 1 – Replace http://talkhomebusinessblog.com with any other website that you want others to click on.
Step 2 – Replace Work From Home Blog with the text that you want others to see and click on.
Step 3 – Finally, you have created a clickable link.
I know… you must be wondering what target=”_blank” means? By inserting that in your [TAG-TEC]HTML[/TAG-TEC] code, you’ll get the link to be opened in a new window. It is good to have that so that when someone clicks on your link, they do not have to go away from your website.

The reason why the link could not work here in the comments is because it has a “no follow” tag included.

I think your site need to do away with adsense at the very top and the Godaddy links.
If possible try to add graphics to enhance your website.

I just put up the site temp. It’s a Free ads web site with domain name purchase. I am planning to upgrade when I have more funds to get rid of the G’ Daddy adverts.

Cool! I am starting to receive a little money with Google AdSense. 1st day 16 cents, day 2 91 cents, day 3 79 cents. I know there is money to be made if you can get traffic to your sites.
I have been researching and there are lots of paid programs out there but I want to do this without putting money into their pockets.
I have already submitted my site with Google, Yahoo and about 40 other search engines with free mass submissions. Also I am listed on TrafficSwarm’s site and 1 other.
Do you have any promotion tips?
Write artices and submit to article directories like ezinearticles. Then include your link in the resource box.
Include your site link in your forum signatures.

I know a lot of people don’t know much about that especially for NooB. someone would kind of discourage to try online biz as they thought it needs a lot of technical knowledge. but actually it isn’t that hard. the first step is just willing to explore and the knowledge will just flow.
