Do You Monitor Your Website’s Downtime?

    Internet Marketing

I must confess I do not monitor my website’s downtime and it gets frustrating when you realize that sometimes visitors just cannot access your website because it is down and you don’t know it.

Have you ever been working in a store and you realize that on a particular night business was unusually slow?

You peered out of the store and noticed that the lights around the store were not turned on. You realize what business has been slow all along.

It’s the same with having a website. Be it a website store, blog, forum etc.

As you spend countless hours sweating to get more traffic to your website, you will always want your website to be up.

Thus, I guess monitoring your website is important after all.

    Monitor Your Site 24/7

You HAVE to make sure your website is open or all the would-be traffic will arrive at a dead page and there goes some potential revenue.

Well, if you prefer monitoring your websites on your own like me, that’s great but if it gets to a point where you are checking your websites non-stop, then get someone to monitor your website/s for you.

Recently, I registered a free account at ServiceUptime and started using their free service.

While the premium upgrade holds more features, you can always start with a free account and finally monitor your website’s downtime.

      Hi Jarrod,

I never thought about this neither until recently. Now, this is extremely important for every website owner…
