1st of all, I would like to wish all our merry blog readers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008 and I would like to conclude the year with an announcement about the end of the SEO experiment for Talkhomebusinessblog.com

If you’ve followed me since we 1st launched on 7th of July 2007, you’ll remember my post back then about the blog’s direction and also as an SEO experiment. I was testing how I could get visitors to the blog via the Search Engines.

Well, we’ve got PR4 in the last Google update and have moved to below 500k on the Alexa ranks from a billion websites out there. Not bad for a blog which is only 5 months old. Don’t you think?

If you noticed, I’ve only been writing articles about home business and nothing more personal.

Why not more personal? Well, firstly to experiment with the search engines, I wrote keyword-optimized articles to rank on Google’s 1st page and I did it with quite a number of the articles. So I will rate this as a successful experiment.

Now you know that just by blogging, you can rank high on Google for your chosen keywords from just a blog post. Wonderful stuff.

So what now?

Like my title post suggests, a brand new experience awaits in 2008. Based on the poll that I did for 5 months, 80% of our blog readers either have not made money online but have expressed interest, have been trying but yet to break the barrier or have started making money online but not made enough.

I assumed you want the low-down. You told me your problems. I lay still just absorbing everything and kept at my SEO experiment.

Thus, I’ve decided to end this successful SEO experiment and try and help one and all to start making money online, break that barrier and make more money along the way. I want to get to know everyone on a personal level. Sounds like a fair deal?

I’m going to pick up some programs and do real-time case studies on each and see if we can begin making money online together. If you liked what you see, feel free to emulate and don’t try re-inventing the wheel. The methods are all time tested and will work if we focus on them.

*Note – You may have to invest some money on some of these methods but I assure you it will be worth it as I do my own research before making the plunge too and I’ll list stuff that I myself invest money on.!
