This week’s featured question from our reader is: - “How to add your signature on your website?”
Have you ever seen those websites, blogs, or sales pages where they signed off at the bottom with a signature?
Yes, those professional looking signatures really look cool don’t they?
There are a few ways you can get it done.
One way is to get your signature on a piece of paper and use a scanner to scan it before resizing it to fit your website and finally uploading it on your site.
If you do not own a scanner, perhaps you can go to a print shop near your location, get them to scan it for you and save it on a CD or a USB drives.
Lazy to take a walk to the print shop like me? Then use your cell phone’s camera function or even your handy digital camera and simply take a photo of your signature and transfer it to your PC.
A word of caution though.
You shouldn’t use your real signature to place online. This is for security issues. There are loons out there who could “steal” your signature and compromise your identity.
Honestly, if you ask me. I’d recommend using online tools to create your name signatures.
VLetter – Makes great-looking cursive handwriting fonts which you can use as signatures. Even Hallmark uses their services.
MyLiveSignature – Online free personal signature generator which is good enough as well. You can also take advantage of their paid animated signature service if you fancy one.
